Sometimes work takes precedence over messing about with spoons and bows. I recently had to copy a couple of Chippendale style chairs for a client using sawn, not riven timber and no green wood in sight. In fact I had to use imported Brazilian mahogany to match his existing set of dining chairs. I'll let the photos speak for themselves as they show the chairs in various stages of production. The first photo shows the originals:

It might not be green woodworking but it's been a bit of a challenge and great fun. The client was delighted and gave me a two seater version of the chairs to copy next.
